  • Fall 2025. I'm building this carefully to make sure it's really good. Waitlist folks get the heads up first.

  • It's self-paced, so you can work through it whenever fits your schedule. No pressure, no deadlines.

  • Not at launch, it's primarily self-study with optional group coaching calls for the initial phase. if you want feedback and guidance. You get the content and can choose your level of interaction.

  • Not at all! This is about fluid workflow between traditional and digital. We start on paper, then show you how to enhance and finish digitally while keeping your artistic voice.

  • Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I show you when to use each one and how to move projects between them for the best results.

About Esther Nariyoshi

Hi! I'm Esther, and I've spent years figuring out how to make traditional and digital art play nicely together. After teaching 40+ classes on illustration as a Top Teacher on Skillshare, with 45K+ students, and licensing my work to major brands, I've learned what actually works (and what's just marketing fluff). This lab is everything I wish I'd had when I was starting out.

This was such a fun class. I've literally spent the rest of the day playing around with shapes and colour variations. I think it's addictive. Thank you for inspiring me.

Really great class with many examples. The Esther's style is relaxed and personable. She breaks down the information in such a way that is simple and fun, and offers an abundance of easily applicable tips. Additionally, the instructor's chatter while she worked was light and humorous.
