This is a draw-along, not a lesson. I'll have 50 face references ready and I'll put them up on a timer so we're all looking at the same thing and drawing together. Babies through elders, a good mix of ages and expressions.Â
We meet on Zoom for an hour. You draw at your own pace with whatever you've got. I just think drawing is better when you're not doing it alone.Â
If faces have been the thing you keep avoiding in your sketchbook, this is an easy way to just sit down and do them. No instruction, no critique, no pressure.Â

Esther's Creative Process
My process is intentionally slow. Each illustration is drawn by hand, built from materials I've tested and chosen myself. Nothing makes it into my work until I know how it behaves. I don't use AI-generated imagery; every mark is made with intention. It's a human process, and that's exactly the point.
